“Buy less, choose well, make it last”. One of Vivienne Westwood’s most famous statements might be a paradox for many in the industry. Buy less?

Of course selling is important, even for her, but it just shouldn’t be something disposable. Throughout her history Dame Vivienne, who was one of the founders of the punk movement in the ’70s, has never let go of this attitude. She has a luxury brand and it has to be treated as such, but fashion for her is a vehicle for activism and that’s the main message we wanted to highlight online.

A functional layout gives space to the label’s strong messages. From Vivienne’s quotes moving in loop to full screen banners used for campaigns, the visual component played a key role in terms of art direction, design and photography. We provided photographic guidelines to enrich the content of the product page images. Furthermore, the “World” part of the website was entirely created and developed by us.
